Tuesday, June 23: You are going to see something in your child's IEP that nobody ever showed you.

I am going to give you three colors and walk you through your child's IEP with them. What you find when you do this will stop you cold. Once you see it, you cannot unsee it. 

And when you understand that connection, you stop leaving meetings feeling like something was off, and your child stops spending their school day somewhere other than the room where they belong..

You will also learn the Needs Reframe, a single shift in how you read your child's IEP that starts building the case for your child belonging in the classroom before anyone at the table ever gets to placement.

Wednesday, June 24: Goals. Then Live IEP Mini-Audits.

We start with goals. I will show you what a goal that actually knows your child looks like, and how to ask for one. Because a goal that could have been written for any child is not accountable to yours.

Then the Mini-Audits open. Two parents. Two real IEPs. I walk through each one live, looking for one thing: does the connection between your child's strengths, their needs, and their goals actually hold?

When it breaks, and it almost always does, I explain it in plain language (not IEP jargon).  Something like: *the strengths say your child learns best with visual supports. Now look at this goal. Visual supports are not mentioned anywhere.*

That is when it clicks. "Oh. THAT is what Charmaine means when she says the strengths have to connect to the goals."

Thursday, June 25: Two More Live IEP Mini-Audits.
Two more parents. Two more real IEPs. By the end of Thursday you will have watched me go through four real IEPs. You'll know what to look for in your own child's IEP. And if you find yourself thinking, I want Charmaine to do this with MY child's IEP, I will tell you exactly how that works on Thursday.

Friday, June 26: BONUS Session

I built something for parents of kids with IEPs that I have never seen anything else do. I am demoing it live on Friday. You will want to see this and I'll let you know how you can get this AI tool to use.

One more thing about being there live.
There is a different energy when you are in the room. Questions come up that answer something you did not even know you were wondering about. Things get said live that never make it into the replay.
