So often, you’re told inclusion is about:
– a percentage
– a placement
–
where your child spends most of their day
And when those boxes are checked, it’s easy to assume the foundation is solid.
But what I talked about in yesterday’s episode is
this:
Inclusion isn’t created at the end of the meeting.
It’s built much earlier, long before placement is discussed.
If you’ve ever felt relief after an IEP meeting and a quiet sense of unease weeks later, the full episode will help you make sense of
that feeling.
You can watch the full episode here.
This isn’t a how-to.
It’s a clarity conversation.
And sometimes, clarity is the most important first step.
You and I are in this together!
