Welcome.
You belong here.
Thank you for making a decision that says your child’s belonging matters, and that their IEP should be built to support it.
And before we begin Connect the Dots: Build an Inclusive IEP™, I want to make sure you know what we’ll be working through
together.
This training is not about giving you more IEP information to sort through.
It is about helping you look at your child’s IEP and start seeing what connects, what does not connect, and what may be missing.
Because when the dots do not connect, your child will still be pulled out, left out, working separately, or supported in ways that do not actually match who they are or what they need.
We’ll have three live sessions, and each one will look at the IEP
through one clear question:
Tuesday, May 5
What story does the IEP tell about your child?
Dots 1 & 2: Strengths and Present
Levels
Wednesday, May 6
Does the IEP move your child closer to belonging and progress?
Dots 3 & 4: Goals and
Accommodations
Thursday, May 7
Does the IEP clearly say what adults will do to support your child’s learning?
Dot 5: Services, Specially Designed Instruction, &
Placement
Sessions are at 10 am Mountain / 11 am Central / 12 pm Eastern / 9 am Pacific.
The private Facebook group will be open before and after the live trainings.
That means you’ll have time to ask questions, watch the replays, connect with other parents, and start noticing what is connected,
and what may be missing in your child’s IEP.
And while the replays will be available, I do think you’ll get even more out of this if you can attend live.
When you’re there live, you can ask your own questions. You can hear what other parents
are noticing. You can learn from the questions they ask, too.
Sometimes a parent asks something you did not even know you needed to ask.
That is part of the power of doing this together.
Please request to join the FB group now, so you’re inside before we begin. Here’s the private Facebook group link:

You'll need to answer 3 short questions.
