From Silence
to Gaslighting
In IEP meetings, silencing rarely sounds like, “Don’t talk.”
It often sounds like gaslighting:
“We never said that.”
“That’s not what the law means.”
Not outright silence, just enough doubt to make you question your own memory, your own reasonableness, even your own reality.
If you’ve ever walked out asking, Did I imagine
that entire conversation?
You’re Not Alone
AND guess what, gaslighting doesn’t happen because you’re weak.
It happens because the system is designed to wear you down.
This week on our The Art of Advocacy show I’ll share the three most common gaslighting tactics in IEP meetings (can you guess what they are?) and
what to do when they happen.

We'll be live on my The Art of Advocacy Facebook page on:

Because you’re not imagining things.
It's not your
fault.
And you’re definitely not too much.
Your voice matters more than the system wants you to believe.
