Dylan’s story is one every parent should hear. Fully included from preschool through college, Dylan experienced firsthand what happens when schools presume competence, prioritize belonging, and
embrace diversity.
He’ll be sharing what his inclusive education journey was really like—the friendships he built, the challenges he faced, and the successes that shaped his future.
But that’s not all. Dylan will also talk about how he advocated for his Transition Plan to include transportation to the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and the chance to audit classes.
He refused to settle for the typical “this is what 18–21-year-olds do” transition program, and instead paved a new path that expanded his opportunities and showed what’s possible with persistence and determination.
We’ll go live on The Art of Advocacy Facebook page DATE: Thurs., Jan.

Invite a friend, bring your questions, and let’s redefine what’s possible together.
See you there!
