My guess is in the past couple of weeks you received your child's
IEP "Progress" Report. Did you rush to open it up to see the news about how well your child is doing?
Or did you kinda glance at it, sigh with a bit of disgust and wonder why these no-nothing "Progress" Reports get sent home any way.
The "Progress" Report may have a line graph with a few data points which makes it look more official, and have very little details or an explanation of how much progress your child has really made.
It's easy to feel frustrated and out of the loop, wondering if
you child has learned much since the last IEP "Progress" Report.
Let me ask you something, "Do you wake up in the morning and ask yourself, What is the purpose of IEP Progress Reports?"
