Restraint & Seclusion with Dr. Ross Greene
I briefly mentioned an excellent webinar where one of the points Dr. Greene made was that instead of managing behaviors we need to be managing expectations. His webinar is available until Tuesday, May 24th at 5:00 pm EST. Click here. Password is ReducingR&S22.
Don't Leave the Gold Nuggets Behind
There are things that went well this school year and now is the time to capture those! Ask your child's current staff that work with them to write down some of your child's strengths so next year's teachers can build on those.
You can also have staff share what accommodations worked well this year so their new teacher won't have to reinvent the wheel.
Make sure to capture your child's input as to what they liked about school this year and what they are hoping next year will look like. This can also be shared with teachers next year.
Go to the 18 minute time stamp in our Q & A video to hear more positive ideas for wrapping up the school year.
