Many parents don’t know how much their child is

learning at school.

Some teachers don’t know if their students are

learning at school.

Who is the one losing out? Your child.

Your child can just be cruising along and not

really learning much.

As an adult I'm sure you've experienced cruising on the highway and you want to change lanes. You aren’t sure if it is safe to do so or not. You might check the rearview mirror, but that doesn’t show you everything. You can check your side mirror - but there is always that blind spot where you’re not sure if it’s safe or not.

When you don’t have the information you need to know if it’s safe to change lanes, or when you don’t have the information to know if your child is making progress at school, dangerous things can happen.

There’s a potential for an accident and there is potential for your child being in limbo and not learning much.

Get the information you need to know so you can answer these five questions BEFORE you get that first Progress Report home:

1. Who is monitoring your child's progress on their IEP goals?
2. How is their progress being monitored?

3. When will you receive Progress Reports

4. What happens if your child isn't making much progress?

5. What happens if your child meets their IEP goals early?
