When children are asked, "How was school today?" or "What did you learn at school today?" We don't usually get a whole lot of information from them. And that's from any of our kids.
As parents of disabled children we often have to rely on a variety of ways to let us know what is happening at school. One way is with Progress Reports that are supposed to tell us what progress our child is making on their IEP goals.
I don't know about you, but as an advocate I rarely read a Progress Report that tells me much.
We need to stop accepting meaningless Progress Reports! Do you want to know more about this?
